Bowl
A bowl decorated in the delftware style with a thick white glaze. It is painted in colours on the outside with a portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) after John Hoppner, half length in a blue and yellow uniform with a red sash. Also on the outside is a depiction of an oared galley and floral decoration in the Japanese style. The interior is decorated with sprays of painted flowers.
