Jug
Pratt ware jug poorly moulded in relief with profiles representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Berry (1768-1831). The figure inscribed 'Admiral Nelson' is facing left to the left of the handle. Berry is on the other side, facing right, inscribed 'Captain Berry'. Their uniforms are blue, with yellow lace and orange order ribbons. The inscriptions are moulded around the neck and painted brown. In the background, the sea painted green, with a ship on either side of each portrait with spotted sails. The jug has a slightly beige appearance overall. The rim and base of the jug are decorated with brown lines. Berry was Nelson's Flag Captain at the Battle of the Nile.
