Jug
Pratt ware jug moulded in relief with profiles representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy (1769-1839). The figure inscribed 'Admiral . Nelson' is facing left to the left of the handle. Hardy is on the other side, facing right, inscribed 'Captain . Hardy'. They have blue coats with yellow lace and ochre order ribbons and brown hats. The inscriptions are moulded on the neck and painted brown. In the background, the sea is painted with green and brown stripes. There is a ship on either side of each portrait, with blue and brown in dots on the sails. The jug is thickly potted with crude moulding and painting.
