Charles Hill Ltd, Albion Dockyard, post WWII vessels, part 2.

A ring binder album containing seventeen 8"x6" prints, sixteen of these are black & white and one is colour, all are mounted with transparent corner fixings and in clear plastic guards. The photographs are of post World War II vessels.

2. “b.d. ‘Samuel Plimsoll’” (1956) YN 401. Alongside another vessel, in the Avon downstream of Bristol, port quarter.
3. “m.h. ‘Avon’” (1956) YN 402. Under way in open water, starboard beam.
4. “g.d. ‘Rhymney’” (1960) YN 431. Slow ahead in the river, starboard bow.
5. “g.d. ‘Ely’” (1960) YN 432. In open water, port ahead of beam.
6. The caption is missing. The photo shows a grab hopper dredger, probably the ‘Ely’, at work. The vessel ‘Suncorona’ (1959?) is moored at a quayside in the background.
7. The photo is missing. The caption reads “g.d. ‘Redcliffe Sand’” (1964) YN 444.
8. “s.d. ‘Severn’” (1966) YN 452. In open water, starboard ahead of beam.
9. A photo of extensive mud flats, with a buoy. There does not appear to have been a caption
10. A colour photo of ‘The Lady Patricia’ (1962) YN 440, in open water, starboard aft of beam.
11. “m.v. ‘Heron’” (1953) YN 406. Under way in the Avon, starboard bow.
12. “m.v. ‘Lancashire Coast’” (1955) YN 389. In open water, port bow.
13. “m.v. ‘Bison’” (1962) YN 435. In open water, port quarter.
14. “m.v. ‘Echo’” (1957) YN 409. In open water, port bow.
15. “t.h.v ’Vestal’ lighthouse vessel and buoy tender” (1947) YN 339. In open water, port bow.
16. “m.v. ‘Regent Jane’” (1952) YN 381. In open water, starboard bow.
