D.M.D. Thacker collection: The Thames
A bound, green cloth covered album, with gold leaf embossed and numbered '33' on the spine. The album contains 25 albumen prints, showing a series of views on the Thames, mainly in the Limehouse area. Vessels featured include: steamer's Libra (1869) and Malvina (1877), tug's Sunbeam and Ich Dien (1877), paddle tug Ben More (1855), paddle steamer Alexandra and spiritsail barge William And Anne (1875)
All are glued in one to a page. Captioned in ink.
