D.M.D. Thacker collection: The Thames, 2
A bound, green cloth covered album, with gold leaf embossed and numbered '32' on the spine. The album contains 25 albumen prints, showing a series of views on the Thames, mainly in the Limehouse area. Vessels featured include: steamer's Baron Osy (1875), Lady Dalhousie (1881), Libra (1869), Ostrich (1860), paddle steamer Vesta (1867), tug Grappler and spiritsail barge John. All are glued in one to a page. Many of the prints are in a poor condition.
All have been copied on microfilm, done on longer format negative..
