A new chart of the coast from Orford Ness to Lowestoff.
Bound sheet. Engraving. North at 80 degrees (magnetic), variation given as 24 degrees east in 1790. Bar scale in miles. Contains a large coastal view: The east prospect of the town of Lowestoff. This shows Lowestoft lighthouse, houses with gardens running to the net sheds on the shore and fishing boats on the beach. The chart also contains sailing directions and a table of shallows.
