Three letters written by POWEM Peter B. Lindsey to his parents during the Falklands conflict.

The letters are dated 27 May, 19 June and 27 June. The 27 May letter discusses two attacks on the AMBUSCADE, firstly by torpedoes and secondly by an Exocet missile, the latter diverted by the ship's deceptive rockets but eventually hitting the requisitioned merchant vessel ATLANTIC CONVEYOR. The 27 June letter discusses repairs required for the ship and Argentinian aircraft. The letters also discuss the routine and conditions on AMBUSCADE, and Lindsey's wife Sandy's concerns about him.
