A port bow view of 'Titanic' (1912) at the quayside, Southampton.

A port bow view of the passenger liner 'Titanic' (1912) alongside the quay at Berth 44, Southampton docks, looking northwest. In the background off Berth 46 to her starboard are the passenger liners (l-r) 'Majestic' (1889) facing in, 'St Louis' (1895) facing out, and 'Philadelphia' (1889) facing in. Due to the coal strike a large number of ships were laid up in Southampton, including these three. As she is not dressed overall, this photograph is not Friday 5 April (Good Friday), and she arrived on the evening of 3 April.

The negative has some areas of slight spotting.
