Timber from 'Royal George' wreck

A piece of timber retrieved from the wreck site of the ship of the line 'Royal George', which sank at Spithead in 1782. One cut surface painted black. A label on the other 'Piece of the Rl. George Given to Lady Oliver by Capt. Heburn RN.'
