H.M.S. 'Victory' timber fragment
A block of wood that was reputedly part of H.M.S. 'Victory'. It consists of a blaock of wood with a semi-circular groove along one side. One side covered with tarred canvas. On a fabric label: A genuine piece of Lord Nelson's ship the Victory - taken from her when she was in dry docks at Portsmouth by J.W. Morgin? 1887'.
