Press box

A wooden press box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The box contains a small wooden press, which has a handle that is on the outside of the box. The box and handle are decorated with conical metal studs. On the short sides are metal decorations in the shape of a lifebelt and anchor, with inscriptions at the centre on pale discs. One inscription reads: ''TRAFALGAR OCTOBER 21 1805' and the other reads: 'ENGLAND EXPECTS THAT EVERY MAN WILL DO HIS DUTY'.
