Button, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1812
Button. Flat. Rope twist edge. Within a flat circular border is an oval with a rope twist on the inner edge. Within the oval on a lined background is a pre-1901 crown with the stock slanting down to the left. The rope appears from under the right-hand stock, then goes under the shank to the left, then under the shank to the right, then back under the shank to the left and under the left arm. Commissioned officers.
