Empire Gulliver (1943)
EMPIRE GULLIVER (1943); A starboard broadside view; Lying in the Tyne. Negative dated 9 Nov. 1943. Proceeding aft her masting is arranged thus; she has the usual short mast on her forecastle accompanied by light derricks. Between numbers 1 and 2 hatches is a heavy mast with what is probably 1 50 ton derrick and smaller derricks. She is without the usual kingposts at the bridge front and the short mast abaft the centrecastle Between numbers 3 and 4 hatches is a heavy-lift mast and derrick similar t to that forward and on the poop is the usual short mast and light derricks.
