Mariposa (1891)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Mariposa (1891) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is on charter to the Atlantic Transport Co Ltd and is flying a United States courtesy flag at the foremast. She has a light line connected from her bow to a tug. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background.
