Ravenna (1880)

A whole plate negative. A fair quality port broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Ravenna (1880) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast, is flying the blue peter and has an awning rigged ahead of the mizzen mast. The twin funnelled paddle tug Renown (1863) is alongside amidships. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1882, G1895 and G2136 were taken on the same occasion.
