Renown (1863)
A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the paddle tug Renown (1863) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is a wooden built vessel with twin funnels. Two of her crew are in a boat cleaning the hull at the port quarter. The top of her mast is just out of the picture. Tilbury is in the background with the ferry lay-up on the left.
