Rohilla (1880)

A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Rohilla (1880) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast, is flying the blue peter and a long awning is rigged aft from abreast her accommodation ladder. The stern of a screw tug is in the foreground and Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background.
