What does your work involve?

We’re restaurateurs! We co-founded Dishoom, and after opening our first restaurant in 2010, we’ve since opened eight more. Together, and with our team, we still run the business.

What inspires you?

As part of the South Asian community, we’re so much more visible than we have been historically. We are now more willing to use our voices, to be who we are.

What message would you give to the next generation?

The more we use our voices as ourselves, the richer it is for us and for the country, too.
