Anita Taylor

An artist, writer and educator, Anita Taylor is the Founding Director of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize and Drawing Projects UK. Her work explores the female subject and identity and interrogates notions of the self-portrait.

As part of her work with the 'Drawing Correspondence' collective, she will look at the power of women's faces in Royal Museums Greenwich's collections.

Tania Kovats

Tania Kovats is a visual artist, curator and author who uses forms including sculpture and installation to chart our connection with the landscape. 

Her drawing practice explores our relationship with the sea.

Chloe Briggs

Chloe Briggs is an artist and educator whose work explores the connective power and joy of drawing together.

She is the founder of Drawing is Free, an initiative that gives people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to bond over art.

Imogen Tedbury

Imogen Tedbury is Royal Museums Greenwich’s Curator of Art (Pre-1800). She is part of the team responsible for the upcoming exhibition The Van de Veldes: Greenwich, Art and the Sea.

Charmaine Watkiss

Drawing is central to Charmaine's practice, and she uses the language of drawing to create what she calls "memory stories". She creates these stories primarily through research connected to the African Caribbean diaspora, and then maps the stories onto life sized figures.

Charmaine's work can be found in the collections of noted institutions such as The British Museum, Leeds Art Gallery, the Government Art Collection and Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University (USA) to name a few.
 

Adam Dant

The winner of the Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2002, Adam Dant is an artist and speaker. Hailed as "the modern-day William Hogarth", he creates intricate map prints that interrogate modern life.

Emma Stibbon RA

Working primarily in drawing and print on paper, Emma Stibbon's practice depicts environments that are undergoing transformation, such as the polar regions.

Hondartza Fraga

Hondartza Fraga is an artist who is interested in our relationship with scientific images of space and the ways in which artistic responses to these might give us new meanings.

M.Lohrum

M.Lohrum is a performative drawing specialist, who explores drawing as a consequence or a residue of a performative process, where the body, gesture, physicality and movement are key factors, and mark making and traces are a visual expression of movement-based thinking.

SENsory Social Club

This club for adults with Special Educational Needs has been investigating drawing as a form of communication by making links between gestures and mark making.

Saturday Art Club

Royal Museums Greenwich's very own youth group will look at the importance of drawing.
