National Windrush Museum and Littlecrowns Storyhouse LTD Productions present a groundbreaking new puppet theatre production, Josephine’s Incredible Journey.
Come along for an unforgettable musical adventure through time, uncovering the inspiring stories of black British icons. This interactive family-friendly show promises an engaging mix of puppetry, music, and hands-on audience participation.
When young Josephine is tasked with finding a role model for her school project, she’s disheartened to realize that none of the figures she’s been introduced to look like her. With time running out, Josephine embarks on a thrilling journey through history—using the internet as her guide — to discover black British people who have shaped history, from Roman Britain all the way to 2024! This amounts to an incredible journey where she discovers amazing people with great ideas and inventions who have had a very significant impact on history, including the Windrush Generation.
