Join us for Explorando el sistema solar, a planetarium show presented live by astronomer Dr. Rebeca Martínez Carrillo in Spanish.
Included in the price of the ticket is access to the historical observatory, which you can visit after the show.

About the presenter: Dr. Rebeca Martínez Carrillo
Rebeca completed a PhD in Astronomy at Queen Mary University of London. Her project was in the area of Cosmology. Previously she completed a Master and Bachelor in Physics back in her home country, Mexico. She enjoys doing science communication and sharing her knowledge in her free time.
Rebeca obtuvo su Doctorado en Astronomía en Queen Mary University of London, en el área de Cosmología. Realizó sus estudios de Maestría y Licenciatura en Física en su país natal México. Actualmente disfruta de hacer divulgación científica y compartir sus conocimientos en su tiempo libre.

Can children attend?
Yes! This show is suitable for ages 7+. Children under 5 will not be admitted. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
How long will the show last?
Planetarium shows last up to 30 minutes.
When should I arrive?
The planetarium is part of the Royal Observatory, at the top of a hill with spectacular views across London. Please allow enough time to get to us and aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the show’s start time, as latecomers cannot be admitted.
Can I bring a pushchair?
Pushchairs are not allowed into the planetarium itself but there is a designated buggy park in the foyer.
Can I visit the Observatory too?
Yes! Each ticket purchased includes free access to the historic observatory site.
Are companion/carer tickets available?
