In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
On 6 August some Carpenters were sent on board and they are at work caulking the deck, but workmen in London will do more in 4 hours than they in a day. All the rigging that is put on board, except that which belonged to her when she was taken, is twice-laid. Signed by Thomas Elkins, commander of the RUBY's PRIZE.
