The National Maritime Museum is brimming with fascinating nautical objects, ranging from royal barges to Roman anchors, Tudor ship models, historic maps, figureheads, and everything in between.

The Treasures Tour is the ideal place to begin your dive into the vast and varied Museum collection, with an introduction to the can't-miss items on display.

The tour winds through multiple galleries, exploring items from across the globe, led by a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Meet and greet a Fijian canoe; be chilled by tales of polar exploration; marvel at the oldest boat in our collection and learn about life at sea in the age of Nelson.

Can't join a Treasures Tour in person? Check out our Treasures audio tour, a self-guided alternative.

You could spend several days in this museum, let alone the entire Greenwich site. If you have limited time, the Treasures Tour takes you round the highlights of the collection in around an hour with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. So much better than just reading the legend by the display and you also get to understand the museum layout to help you explore on your own afterwards. And all for £3.50 each! Brilliant value and highly enjoyable.
