We send you herein a copy of the inventory of the ST LEWIS as you desired, returned to us from Portsmouth. As to the RAINBOW she is in the Court of Admiralty and her appraisal is not yet come. In the interim we advise you that the ships are to be put up for public sale by inch of candle at Smythers Coffee House on 8 January next, where if you shall appoint any persons to bid for them we shall be ready to do all in our power for His Majesty's service.
