Sea shanty singers

2, 3, 6, 7 and 10 April

Ready for a singalong? Join our resident sea shanty groups as they bring the ship alive by singing traditional working songs.

Location: Tween Deck | Timings: Performances at 11.45am, 12.45pm and 1.30pm | Suitable for: All ages and abilities


Character actors

1, 5, 8, 12, 13 and 14 April

Meet the captain, chat with the cook, and even take a tour with Nannie the Figurehead! Join in with our fantastic character actors and get a taste of a life at sea. You never know who you might run into on board Cutty Sark...

Shanty stories

Tuesday 9 April

Embark on an immersive musical journey with some sea shanty-inspired storytelling! Dive into tales of daring sailors aboard the ship and sing shanties together.

Location: Tween Deck | Timings: 45-minute sessions at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm | Suitable for: All ages and abilities


Ship shapes

Tuesday 2 and Thursday 11 April

Put your creativity to the test and build a new dockyard in Greenwich for the famous tea clipper to moor in. This drop-in workshop is held beneath Cutty Sark itself, meaning kids can join in with the activity before stretching up to touch the gleaming hull.

Location: Dry Berth | Timings: Sessions run from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm | Suitable for: All ages and abilities

From stacking blocks to party-themed props, our new play boxes at Cutty Sark provide the perfect opportunity to let your imagination set sail. There are no instructions, just use your creativity to play with the objects you find!
