The petition of Mary Neret, widow of Gabriel Neret, Surgeon, who served in the EDGAR, DUCHESS and RESTORATION between 1691 and 1693. She claims that she has been paid only a part of the 'twopences' he was entitled to receive and that Mr Dodrington, of the Treasury, and his subordinate, Mr Burton, have obstructed her attempts to recover the balance.
The petition has been minuted by Pett and another signatory (illegible) to the effect that Mr Dodrington is to explain what he knows of the matter. Signed by Mary Neret.
