In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Extract of a letter from William Meesters giving particulars of some Machine Vessels, Fireships and others lately taken up; viz.
Machine Vessels:
FORTUNE, John Beckham (Master);
HAPPY RETURN, Robert Isaac;
WILLIAM & ELIZABETH, William Carleton;
MAY FLOWER, Captain Milleson;
Storeships:
EPHRAIM, Lewis Frost;
MARY & SARAH, Hubert den Baes;
LADY ANN, Zegeba Detein;
YOUNG TOBIAS, Ijlke Peiters;
ABRAHAM'S OFFERING, Jacob Johnson.
The owners and masters of these vessels require the usual security against their loss. Mr Meesters also requests that they be supplied with hammocks and provisions. Also pilots are required to take the vessels to the Downs and Mr Meesters requires some one to assist him. Signed by William Meesters.
