In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Enclosure: Copy of a letter from William Addis in which he states that having ordered twenty tuns of beer to be delivered on board Jone's ship, the brewer would not deliver it - the cooper having told him that they would fill it up at the ship's side; but Addis further states that this has never been the practice in the past and does not wish to be seen neglectful.
