Photograph album showing shipboard life during the First World War at sea, including commissions of HMS GLORY, HECTOR (balloon ship), and RESOLUTION (1914 - 1919). Subjects include Halifax, Malta, naval airship station at Mudros, the Dardenelles and Anzac Cove, the initial advance of the light cruisers at Jutland and the scuttling of the German High Seas Fleet. Also included are family and home photographs taken while on leave, chronologically interwoven between commissions.
