Barlow describes the Canary Islands and their produce, as well as the danger of the seas and rocks around them.
The crew have difficulty fetching water, and the seas around Tenerife are dangerous. A small ship is captured by a Moorish man-of-war, but the crew avoid being taken into slavery by escaping to the shore. Barlow describes the islands and their produce.
