The ship sails to Cape St. Vincent and then round the coast of Spain to Toulon in France. Barlow describes Toulon.
The ship sails on to Cape St. Vincent, and then to Tangier, Cartagena and Alicante. At Saflue Barlow is in the boat which is sent to obtain some wine. Barlow describes their next stop Toulon, which has a seaman's hospital.
