In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We directed you to cause two Pinnaces to be supplied to the PLAY Prize, LARK and MARY hired Ship, appointed to cruise between Scotland and Ireland, in addition to the Boats that belong to them. As these Ships cannot conveniently stow the Pinnaces, which will be exposed to loss in their passage to the Irish Seas, we direct that these are returned to the Stores at Chatham, from whence we understand they were issued.
