Operation Neptune, naval orders including instructions for ancillary ships and minor landing craft covering Buoy laying vessels, salvage vessels, mooring vessels employed off the Enemy Coast; instructions for escorts covering control of Convoys and Escorts, Command at Sea, Object of the escort, Enemey reports; Instructions for the establishment of beach protection and craft shelters (Gooseberries) and artificial ports (Mulberries) covering the erection of all Mulberries and Gooseberries with chart and operation control of Mulberries A and Mulberries B.

Administrative / biographical background
During WWII a level of clearance called "Bigot" was adopted by the allies. This was in order to create a smaller circle of individuals who were cleared to know information.
