Operation Neptune, naval orders including outline of Operation Maple (Minelaying plan); Diversions covering operation Glimmer (to make a feint at the beaches of Pas De Calais at the same time as the assault), operation taxable (to make a feint at the beaches astride Cap Antifer at the same time as the assault), operation Bigdrum (to make a small RCM force on the western flank of the assault to occupy the attention of enemy radar stations situated in the North East Cotentin), Loading and Assembly; Instructions for Neptune Covering Forces and Instructions for Minesweeping.

Administrative / biographical background
During WWII a level of clearance called "Bigot" was adopted by the allies. This was in order to create a smaller circle of individuals who were cleared to know information.
