Series of papers related to two prizes captured during the American War in 1813. A brief description of the letters follows: (1) and (2) Letter from James Wilkinson to E. H. Locker, Secretary to Greenwich Hospital, which has commenced proceedings against Wilkinson, enclosing a statement of circumstances connected with two prizes that were captured near Lisbon in 1813 during the American War, signed by Mr Wilkinson, one of the agents of the captain of the captor ship, and Captain Gordon, whose observations have been added to the statement; (3) Letter to Sir Thomas Thompson from James Wilkinson reiterating his innocence in relation to the proceedings commenced by Greenwich Hospital; (3) Letter from Captain Gordon (presumably to James Wilkinson) in support of Wilkinson in relation to the proceedings against him by Greenwich Hospital; (4) Letter to Sir Thomas Thompson from James Wilkinson regarding the proceedings commenced by Greenwich Hospital.
