In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

[No date recorded] Enclosure: Copy of a letter from Sir Edmund Wiseman in which he states that although payments were made to his late Brother, Captain Wiseman, for recruiting Men, he finds that deductions have been made from his Brother's pension due to accounts not having been rendered during his Brother's lifetime. He reasons however that as his Brother's ship was in fact properly manned and that that could not have been done without expense, he now asks that the matter be settled in his Brother's favour. Signed by Edmund Wiseman, Knight.
