Letterbook of letters dated from 17 November 1919 to 29 February 1924, written by Denis Bates, mainly to his uncle Sydney Bates, his brothers Percy and Fred, and Aubrey Brocklebank. Includes some loose letters, mainly replies from Sydney Bates, inserted between the pages throughout the volume. Also some additional loose papers were inserted into the inside front cover (stored separately - see BAT/3/6/2/2).
