Exercise book, containing extracts from the diary of Elizabeth Graves (the wife of Samuel R. Graves and Edward Percy Bates' mother-in-law) dated 6 September 1848 to 25 Dec 1874. Inserted in the inside front cover of the book is a letter from Geoffrey Beazley, regarding the Diary of William Graves (see BAT/11/9/2), which mentions his grandfather James Beazley.
