Notes on survivors experiences and a reference of a plaque supposedly written by John Astor.

Typed notes on peoples' experience of the TITANIC diaster including Edward Ryan 3rd Class Passenger, Michael F. Kelly Eugene Patrick Daly an Irish 3rd Class Passenger typed by Michael F. Kelly; Mary McGovern a 3rd Class Passenger, notes typed by Mr J. Sahnnon, pamphlets from Hazel McKinley and a photo of a crowd outside the White Star Line offices in New York trying to get information on the disaster. Also included is a note about a wooden Plaque picked up by SS LONGSCAR tied to two deck chairs. The plaque was signed by John Jacob Astor and read - "To my loved ones terrible disaster have arrived we Fighting For life in the eyes of death except the Lord be with us our Efforts will be in vain our end is near. No more no more. My last day in this world I die as heroes die nobly and with resignation. Farewell for ever. God bless you all. may God have mercy on our Souls. Your broken hearted Father John Jacob Astor."
