Autographed photographic portrait of Admiral Sir David R. Beatty in uniform, framed and glazed. On the reverse is a letter sent on behalf of Lady Ethel Beatty, from Aberdour House, Fife, to Miss Amy H.G. Barrett (later Lady Hannon) of the Kensington Branch of The Navy League, dated 18 September 1916. The wooden frame is decorated with a White Ensign and an admiral’s flag.
