In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
By an Order of His Majesty in Council dated 2 February 1692, it was directed that several Collectors of the Customs should advance sums amounting to £4,050 to the Vice Admiral for raising 8100 seamen in 1693. By an Order dated 8 February 1693 a like sum was advanced for raising the like number of seamen for 1694. By an Order dated 3 February 1694, it was directed the like sum should be advanced for raising the like number of seamen for the last year.
