Deeds relating to premises at the southeastern end of The Sailors’ Home in Well Street, purchased in 1877 and forming part of the premises leased to the Board of Trade from 14 May 1894.
(1) Attested copy of lease for a year of ground on the west side of Well Street, Henry Rix of Whitechapel Road, cork merchant, to Lewis Loyd, Samuel Jones Loyd, Edward Loyd and John Tabor of Lothbury, carrying on business under the banking firm of Jones, Loyd & Co., dated 31 January 1825.
(2) Attested copy of mortgage for freehold and leasehold estates for securing a banking account, from Henry Rix of Whitechapel Road, cork merchant, and Henry Brickham of Church Lane, coal dealer, to Lewis Lloyd and others, carrying on business under the firm of Jones, Loyd & Co., dated 1 February 1825.
(3) Attested copy of lease for two years of ground on the west side of Well Street, Lewis Loyd and others to Henry Rix, dated 1 November 1827.
(4) Copy reconveyance (by indorsement) of mortgaged premises, made from Lewis Loyd, Samuel Jones Loyd, Edward Loyd and John Tabor on the first part, Henry Rix of the second part, Charles William Tabor of the third part and Joseph Heapy Watson of Tokenhouse Yard in the city of London of the fourth part, dated 2 November 1827.
