Orders for HMS NETLEY sent by Captain George Cockburn, 1800
Official papers: Orders for the schooner HMS NETLEY (1798), sent to Bond by Captain George Cockburn, in command of HMS MINERVE (captured 1795), off Vigo, dated 15 April 1800 (1 sheet, 1 page). The NETLEY is ordered to sail for Cape St Vincent and then to Cadiz, on a cruise for eight days, later to take orders from Admiral Duckworth, and if not successful in meeting him, the NETLEY should go to Gibraltar before returning to her former station.
