OHY/6/94/2 - 00:33:36; 0.7 GB

An interview we believe to be with Martin Lee, a Trinity House (latterly Medway) pilot who had previously worked in deep sea vessels in the merchant marine. His interview talks about navigating in shallow water, including the issue of hidden wrecks. He discusses issues of safety and the skills required of pilots and provides technical details of the Christos Betos which ran aground off the coast of Pembrokeshire in 1978 spilling its cargo of oil with devastating environmental impacts.
