Uncatalogued: Two letters written by the marine artist Edward William Cooke, 1872
Two letters written by the marine artist Edward William Cooke. Both letters were sent to Roper (the botanist Freeman Clark Samuel Roper?) and sent from Cooke's home Glen Andred near Groombridge. The letters refer to his hobby of garden making, with particular interest in the Victorian rock garden, and include sketches of alternative designs.
