"Method for determining the Longitude by an absolute altitude of the moon", addressed to the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty by John Christian Bowring, dated La Paz, 10th August 1836. With copy dated Cuzco 20th August 1837. Bowring suggests an alternative to Pingre and Lemonier's earlier method of calulating latitude (4 sheets).
