Private account book, of Kelsick Wood (1771-1840) [alt. sp. Kelswick Wood], shipbuilder of Maryport. The journals are filled with quotes for work on a variety of vessels, recording details of ships built and the purchase of materials, 1839-40 (Formerly ACC/3). The journal also contains dozens of colourful illustrations; portraits, group scenes, figureheads, ships, coat of arms, animals and mythical creatures.
