Diary kept by Jesse Garton.
The diary provides an account of the Gallipoli landings of allied troops in April 1915. It includes details of the battleships and troopships involved in the landings and descriptions of exchanges of fire between the Allies and Central Powers forces. There is also a small sketch or plan of the beaches, showing the positions of landing craft, pre-dreadnought warships, French vessels and the QUEEN ELIZABETH.
