In answer to your letter of the 27th inst; concerning Convoy for the Merchant Ships expected from Gothenburg and Norway, that are designed for Portsmouth, I inform you that the Commander of the Convoys to Gothenburg has Orders that when they return off this River, the CHARLES GALLEY should proceed with the Ships bound for Portsmouth, and the Commander of the Convoys to Norway had Orders to send the SCARBOROUGH with the Ships under his Convoy bound for Plymouth.
